Chris Forrest has been a school governor since 2010 and a chair since 2014. He is currently chair of governors of a primary school in Warrington.
Chris was designated a National Leader of Governance (NLG) in June 2016 and in that capacity has supported the chairs of a number of primary schools.
Chris' previous professional roles include Senior People Manager and Head of Workforce within the National Health Service and Accountant within the Department for Work and Pensions. In 2016 he established his own consulting business and supports a wide range of clients in areas such as coaching, team development and organistional change.
An experienced trainer, Chris has designed and delivered a wide range of courses and programmes, specialising in leadership development and change management.
Chris has been trained in undertaking external reviews of governance by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL).
